Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at the Lynchburg Amphitheater on July 3 for the FREE Independence Jam!
 
This free community celebration, starting at 2 pm, features an afternoon packed with family fun, including carnival games, face painting, a dunk tank, an obstacle course, splash pad, playground access, karaoke with DJ Liz, and ticket giveaways throughout the day.
 
Enjoy food from local favorites like Downtown Cairo, Phillin' Philly, Taste of Jamaica, Bruster's Ice Cream, Holy Heavenly Cookie Co., and more.
 
Live music from Local Call begins at 7:00 PM, followed by fireworks around 9:00 PM. After the fireworks, the band returns to keep the celebration going.
 
Bring your lawn chairs, your family, and your patriotic spirit for an unforgettable evening on the riverfront.
